SilverTrail Global works as the local link between international buyers and Indian manufacturers — handling supplier discovery, quotation comparison, sampling and production coordination on the ground.
SilverTrail Global is an independent sourcing and procurement business based in Hyderabad, India. We work with international buyers — procurement companies, hospitality groups, contractors, designers, developers, importers and distributors — who want to source from India but do not have people on the ground here.
Our approach is requirement-led rather than catalogue-led. Instead of promoting a fixed group of products, we begin with the buyer’s specification and identify manufacturers capable of meeting it. That is a slower way to start a relationship and a more useful one: the shortlist you receive is built around your drawing, quantity and target price rather than around a list of factories we happen to know.
We are a new and deliberately small business, which we would rather state plainly than dress up. What we offer is direct access to the person doing the work, local research and follow-up in the Indian market, and a structured way of running a sourcing requirement from specification through to shipment.
The business is run by Ranjit Datla and is based in Hyderabad, with supplier research carried out across manufacturing regions in India.

How we work
Four things we hold to
Requirement-led, not catalogue-led
We do not represent a fixed group of factories or push a product range. Each search starts from the buyer's specification, which means the shortlist is built for the requirement rather than around who we already work with.
Say what we know, and what we don't
If a category is outside what we can research well, or a target price looks unrealistic for the specification, we say so at the start. That is more useful to a buyer than an optimistic yes.
Independent of the supplier
Our role is to represent the buyer's requirement to the Indian market. Commercial arrangements are agreed with you in advance, so it is always clear where our interest sits.
Reachable in your working day
Sourcing at distance usually fails on response time. Enquiries are answered directly by the person handling your requirement, normally within one working day.
